RokuForu (Or Bass x Mega Man), is a Fanon Relationship (or Friendship) that has something to do with 2 rivals that are from the Classic Timeline of the Mega Man Universe, Mega Man and Bass, but 2 other characters that have the somewhat "same" design but in a different universe, MegaMan.EXE and Bass.EXE can also be shipped as a relationship or a friendship (Battle Network). They are considered rivals in the first place because 2 scientists who hated each other, made those robots. One who is a house cleaner robot who wants to fight for peace and justice, and one who is dreaming to become the strongest robot master in the whole wide world, and usually doesn't follow orders from the scientist who made him.

Back in the year of 200X, After Proto Man was built, Dr. Light originally made Mega Man and Roll as a Lab Assistant to help him in his chores and workshop. During the incidents of Dr. Wily stealing all Light's sibling robots to take over the world, Mega Man was then volunteering to be converted into a fighting robot to battle for justice. The transformation of Rock to Mega Man (Rock Man in Japan) happened because he is a advanced robot who is empathetic, and does not want to be a bystander and watch all his "sibling" robots take over the world happen. He is then equipped with a Mega Buster and a Variable Weapon System, which gives him the ability to copy other Robot Master's Skills or Abilities if they are defeated.

After Mega Man successfully defeated all the Robot Masters and Dr. Wily 6 times, he was then frustrated by the fact that all his Robot Masters were eliminated easily by the Blue Bomber because his robots were really not that powerful enough to eliminate Mega Man. Before the events of the 7th game, he was then planning to build his own advanced robot master on his research of Mega Man's skills and abilities (Blueprints), which is the origin of Bass' existence in this Classic Timeline. During the creation of Bass, Dr. Wily then accidentally found a powerful weapon that is stronger than Mega Man himself, Bassnium. So he decided to use that power for Bass to become stronger than the other Robot Masters.

While there was a city rampage created by Wily and his new backup robot masters at the 7th time, Mega Man first met Bass while going to fight Dr. Wily. How though? When Rock was navigating the destroyed city and the streets, he met his rival and the rival's dog named Treble (Gospel in Japan). As he approached them, they participated on their own battle. But after the fight between Rock (Mega Man) and Forte (Bass), he then allied Mega Man to stop his own creator..? What's also interesting about Bass' character personality is that he pretended to be injured by one of the robot masters, and as Mega Man saw that Bass was "hurt" in a terrible way, he decided to grab him and send him to Dr. Light's Lab to get him (Bass) repaired, earning the trust of a Blue Bomber.

But this was Dr. Wily's plan all along, after Mega Man trusted Bass as he gets fully repaired, he indeed does destroy Dr. Light's Lab and stole the Super Adapter, the ability to let Mega Man and his pet Rush fuse together to become "Super Mega Man". Which is how Bass got his super form with Treble. After that incident, Mega Man then realized... He saw Bass' true natures and colors, as he found out that Dr. Wily created Mega Man's own Rival....

Why did Bass betray Dr. Wily just like Rei Ayanami betray Gendo Ikari in End of Evangelion? There are some reasons that can be involved by his own personality traits of programming.

Dr. Wily finding the Bassnium power accidentally may cause Bass to be very independent, but there was side effects on it, as he became more unpredictable or Self Aware... Because of this ability, he started overpowering his own commands and follows his own story, making it as one of the reasons why he won't follow his creator's orders.

Another cause about this is that since Dr. Wily's robot masters were defeated easily by the Blue Bomber (Mega Man), his obsession of trying to win one last time took over and tried to build a strongest robot, but there is a flaw while building Mega Man's Rival. He built Bass' desire to be the strongest a bit too much. As a result, if Dr. Wily commands Bass to retreat or follow orders, Bass then hears it as like a "personal insult" to his personality and abilities.

Dr. Wily noticed that Mega Man fought because of peace and justice, due to this, he started creating with an independent will to match the Blue Bomber's strength, but instead, it was fueled with pride more than justice, causing a robot that fully rejects his orders and obendience.

This personality trait of the Classic Mega Man Timeline explained Bass' existence perfectly... But at a cost. Due to this, there is foreshadowing by his own betrayal towards Wily... something, that changed the whole Mega Man Timeline 100 years later. This personality, caused the creation of someone...
